SYNOPSIS

Fauno, the beauty and the monstrosity, is an original piece which combines dance and marionette manipulation creating an unexpected and astonishing illusion for the spectator.

Fauno is a social outcast and overshadowed creature who desires to love and be loved. Therefore, he decides to kidnap a nymph, a vulnerable, innocent and free spirit being. The nymph is trapped in a nightmare and protects herself with her basic instincts to get rid of the monster. The characters undergo a metamorphosis playing with appearances making the spectator doubt about what actually beauty is and what is monstrosity. We go between darkness and light dragged by the ultimate goal of loving and being loved.

Both, Fauno and the nymph, by exposing their vulnerability, awake in the audience the reconciliation with the shadow going beyond beauty and monstrosity.
